Dr.Linga Goud Memula is the first NRI of Ankapur Village, He migrated to USA in 1965 to pursue higher education. In 2010, He started a trust on his parents name Lacha Goud and Satyamma Memula Trust (LGSMT) to do social service activities in Ankapur village and Armoor Mandal.
He donated to funds to various skill development actitivites in the village, Renovation of govt school in ankapur village, Water Treatment plant, Merit Scholarships to poor students, donation to kalyana Mandapam e.t.c,
he is inspiration to other NRIs to lookback to motherland INDIA.
